An ʻohana style race focused on our hoe waʻa culture and where we came from. O wai ʻoukou?

Da Hui Paddle Race, presented by Yama’s Roofing, will once again take place at the beautiful, Hilo Hawai’i.  We dedicate this race to Uncle Sol Aikau who was legendary to the sport of he’e nalu, canoe sailing and also a longtime member of the Hui O He’e Nalu.  He loved the Big Island and resided in Waimea at the time of his passing.

OC2/OC4

  • KANE: All ages
  • WAHINE: All ages
  • MIX: All ages

Free Entry Divisions

OC6 – KEIKI/TEEN – Register online (no fee).  Beach entries will be taken on race morning.

  • BOYS: Ages up to 17yrs.
  • GIRLS: Ages up to 17yrs.
  • MIX: 3 Girls/3 Boys up to age 17yrs
